Dr. Alecsandru Ionescu (sâmbătă, 4 aprilie)

Dr. Alecsandru Ionescu graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at UMF “Carol Davila” Bucharest in 2001. He is a member of the board of directors of the Romanian Society of Aesthetic Dentistry (SSER) and a founding member of the Romanian Society for Digital Dentistry. Dr. Ionescu is an active member of IADFE (International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics), ESCD (European Society of Esthetic Dentistry), EAO (European Association for Osseointegration), and a fellow of ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantology). In 2020, he was elected Academic Ambassador of IAUSI in Romania (International Academy for Ultrasonic Surgery), and since 2021 he has been an honorary member of the Romanian Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Prosthetics. In November 2023, he was elected vice president of the Bucharest College of Dentists, and in January 2024 he founded the first ITI study club in Romania dedicated to minimally invasive implantology, “Biologically Guided Oral Implantology.” In May 2024, he was nominated as the first ITI fellow in Romania (International Team for Implantology).
Dr. Ionescu obtained his PhD in Medical Sciences in Oral Implantology at UMF “Carol Davila,” Bucharest, in 2019. He is an international lecturer, author of various articles and clinical studies in the field of oral implantology, and co-author of the textbook “Comprehensive Esthetic Dentistry,” published by Quintessence International. His main areas of interest focus on minimally invasive approaches in oral surgery, implantology, and periodontology. He is a trainer for the “Open Healing” protocol and an expert in tissue-level implants. He is also a trainer in piezosurgery and digital protocols in oral implantology.
Dr. Ionescu practices professionally in Bucharest at the dental clinic “aesthetics ONE.”
