Dr. Jiri Blahák, MD, DDS, PhD, is a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon with extensive academic, clinical, and leadership experience. He works at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University Hospital Brno, where he is also a member of the oncosurgical team, and serves as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk Universitv.
He holds degrees in General Medicine and Dentistry and completed postgraduate studies, achieving specialization in oral surgery and consultant status in 2019. Dr. Blahák is highly involved in implantology, digital workflows, guided surgery, autologous bone augmentation, and management of complex implant cases.
He is an active member and Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Director of ITI Study Club Nové Mesto, and Chairman of the first IT Congress CZ & SK. In addition to running a private dental center, he regularly lectures internationally and leads advanced courses across Europe, focusing on digital implant dentistry, immediate implant placement, and complication management.
