Professor Miroslav Andric, DMD, PhD
Dr. Miroslav Andric received his degree from the School of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, in 1997. In 2002, he completed the Residency Program in Oral Surgery at the University of Belgrade. He completed postgraduate studies in Oral Surgery at the University of Belgrade and obtained the title Master of Science in Oral Surgery in 2006. In 2012, he completed his PhD thesis at the University of Belgrade.
Current position: Professor of Oral Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Implantology at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade.
Professor Andric is involved in courses of Oral Surgery, Anesthesiology, and Implantology for undergraduate students and courses of Biomedical Publishing and Introduction to Biomedical Research for doctoral students.
He participated in Continuing Medical Education programs at the University of Zurich, Zentrum für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkund, and the University of Tubingen. Dr. Miroslav Andric has published articles in scientific journals indexed in the Science Citation Index and presented lectures at Serbian and international scientific meetings in the fields of Oral Surgery and Implantology. According to the Scopus database, he has published 35 articles in scientific journals, with 632 citations and an h-index of 15. His primary research focus is on oral and maxillofacial pathology, microbiology, and regenerative procedures and materials.
From 2003 to 2008, he served as Secretary of the Section of Oral Surgery of the Serbian Medical Association.
Currently, he is the Secretary of the Section of Oral Implantology of the Serbian Medical Association.
He has been an ITI Fellow since 2010 and is a registered ITI speaker. He is currently a member of the ITI Academy Editorial Board, holding the position of Senior Editor.
He is actively involved in the work of the IT| Study Club Belgrade, currently serving as a director of ITI Study Club Belgrade 2, and in postgraduate and residency programs in Oral Surgery and Implantology at the University of Belgrade.
